Written Reflection
1) What was the objective of the assignment?
The objective of this assignment was to go onto photoshoptutorials.ws and find a tutorial to do. I chose the " How to Create a Retro Surreal Photo Manipulation. "
2) What I learned and the tools/methods used: What did you learn with this assignment?
I learned how to change images to different colors and how to incorporate different textures to the background.
3) Strengths of this work: What do you feel are the strengths of your finished piece?
I feel like I made a piece that was retro and creative. I didn't follow exactly the tutorial did; I used different images. Only because some of the links to their images I couldn't access because they were blocked and I wanted to have some individuality in it. I think I did very well on the girl because I had to find legs for her since she originally didn't have any and plus how I did the eye in the lower right corner looks sweet.
4) Challenges with assignment:What do you feel was the biggest challenge(s) for you regarding this piece?
The biggest assignment was changing the colors of objects underwater. I didn't just have to change the opacity, I had to adjust the colors to a sea green so the image looked like it was literally underwater.
