Written Reflection
1) What was the objective of the assignment?
The objective of this assignment was to find an image, convert it to black and white and basically reveal some color. It's kind of like our hand painting assignment but instead of us choosing which color to paint, we just revealed the original color the image has.
2) What I learned and the tools/methods used: What did you learn with this assignment?
I learned that we can mask layers and reveal the color the image originally had. I thought we couldn't do that and we had to choose our on colors.
3) Strengths of this work: What do you feel are the strengths of your finished piece?
I feel like I chose a less obvious image and did something creative, like with the hair. I just didn't get an image and reveal the eye color, I actually challenged myself and for that I'm proud of my finished result.
4) Challenges with assignment:What do you feel was the biggest challenge(s) for you regarding this piece?
. My biggest challenge was getting the little hairs the color it needed to be. It definitely took some patience but it was worth it.
