Written Reflection
1) What was the objective of the assignment?
The objective of this assignment was to pick a tutorial, complete it but to make it unique and have individuality. We were suppose to use all the skills that we've been taught this trimester into this assignment, I did. I chose to do the doll tutorial.
2) What I learned and the tools/methods used: What did you learn with this assignment?
I learned how to liquify images. Which is extremely cool and made it so much easier to edit; I'm definitely going to use this tool in future projects on Photoshop.
3) Strengths of this work: What do you feel are the strengths of your finished piece?
I feel like I transformed my image so well and the final product looks absolutely amazing. I am really proud on my eyes, nose, and lips of my doll.
4) Challenges with assignment: What do you feel was the biggest challenge(s) for you regarding this piece?
When I chose this tutorial I had no idea how difficult this assignment would be. It only had 9 steps and I figured I would get it done within two days but I was totally wrong. This whole entire assignment was a challenge to me. To transform and to make it actually look good was hard. My absolutely biggest challenge in this assignment were the lips. It probably took my three days to make them look somewhat decent but it was so worth it because they look so good right now. Lastly, when I was liquifying her neck, which had to be done because it would just look awkward with a short chubby neck, it was hard to get rid of the blur in the hair. I tried my best in trying to eliminate it but it still doesn't look the best
