Written Reflection
1) What was the objective of the assignment?
The purpose of this assignment was to find an image and convert it to black and white. Then we would have to hand color or should I say, hand "mouse" about 50% of the image using color.
2) What I learned and the tools/methods used: What did you learn with this assignment? This could be tools learned, functions learned, etc...
I learned that I would have to zoom in really far to get the precise look that I was trying to achieve.
3) Strengths of this work: What do you feel are the strengths of your finished piece?
I feel like I chose an image that was really difficult and I did really well on it. I had a variety of color and I had a lot of detail. If I would of had more time I would of colored the entire guitar but I didn't because of lack of class time.
4) Challenges with assignment: What do you feel was the biggest challenge(s) for you regarding this piece?
The most difficult part of this assignment was coloring the tree roots. It took a really long time lassoing, but in the end it definitely paid off.
